I’m a self-proclaimed gardening geek, and I consider myself truly blessed to have discovered my passion for gardening back in 2007. After two fulfilling decades in management, I decided to pursue my lifelong love for plants, soil, and all things green. My dedication to the craft led me to achieve the prestigious Master Gardener status conferred upon me by the State of Illinois.

My journey didn’t stop there. I’ve always believed in the power of education and sharing knowledge. So, I’ve been actively involved in various venues and gardening activities, both formal and hands-on, to help others nurture their green thumbs.

In 2012, I took a significant leap by establishing our retail haven, The Landscape Connection, nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Northern Illinois, right on the Wisconsin border (Zone 5). It was a dream come true for me and my partner, Glenn, my beloved husband. On October 6, 2014, we opened our doors to fellow gardening enthusiasts, and the rest, as they say, is history.
